Description

Hi Makers!

No burned fingers when switching your hotend anymore! As the nozzle change on the A1 series is already pretty fast, I also wanted to make this procedure even more convenient. That's why I have designed a very simple, but useful hotend sock removal tool for the A1 and A1 Mini to easily remove the silicone sock surrounding the hotend since this is the most annoying part of it. It's a very fast print and only needs around 10g of filament. You can simply hold it like regular tweezers and pull out the silicone sock after you have removed the front cover plate. The model also includes small nobs at the front sides to click out the cover in advance if you wish to do so;-)

PLA usually is sufficient as the contact with hot components is not very long, but feel free to print it in a different material if you like.

I hope you like this cool idea and have fun using it!

Best regards

😃
