Description

3D-Printed Milk Frother
This innovative milk frother is a fully 3D-printed design, built to combine functionality with simplicity. The device incorporates a clever use of a USA penny as part of the electrical circuit, ensuring a reliable connection to the battery's negative terminal. Here's how it works:

  • The penny sits snugly above the motor in the housing, soldered to one wire, providing a stable contact point for the negative terminal.
  • The positive wire is routed through narrow channels in the body and extends to the button mechanism, where its exposed tip makes contact with the battery's positive terminal when pressed.
  • Both wires are soldered to the motor before assembly, ensuring a streamlined design.
  • 3D printed spring keeps button in default off positionn.

Assembly Tips:

  • Before screwing the motor housing into place, ensure the wire length to penny is short enough to avoid tangling or interference.
  • Be aware that twisting the motor housing results in approximately three wire rotations, so assemble with care. Future iterations will aim to simplify this process for even greater ease of use.

This frother was designed with accessibility in mind while retaining a focus on DIY engineering principles. It’s perfect for milk lovers who appreciate creativity and engineering!
