Description

Hey everyone,

i designed this filament protection shield to keep your filament safe. So it will not deform or melt when drying your filament.

You may ask why? I measured the the air temparature of the outtake. When for example i set the target temperature to 60 the meassured air temp of the outtake is sometime 75 degree hot. There are also discussions on reddit about that.

I don't print out of the dryer. If you do. This might be not necessary. This is for everyone who just put their roll of filament into the dryer.

Important Note:

Don't print the shield with materials which can not withstand higher temp. It will deform. Use ASA or ABS. More temp resistant materials should work as well. E.g. Dont use petg to dry petg.

Happy drying
