Description

This is a remix of the calendar puzzle made by Ethan, his puzzle does not however include the 2025/2026/2027 dates, so I made sure to include it to keep the puzzle up to date (Look at the print profiles to find the most up to date year)! I also removed the holes in the bottom left of the base as I think it looks much cleaner like this. I also removed that same hole in the top left of the dates panel to again make it look cleaner.

PRINTING

You do not need an AMS to print this. The puzzle is printed in three plates: The base, the pieces, and finally the panel (with the dates) and the year label (2025/2026/2027). The base should be printed at 0.2mm layer height. The pieces can be printed at 0.16mm, or 0.12mm depending on the detail you want. And finally, the third plate which has the “dates” panel  should be printed at 0.12mm layer height as this will ensure that the numbers are clear and have no stringing.

ASSEMBLY

Once printed, it is very quick and simple to put together, with no tools or glue being required! You just push the panel with the dates into the base. After that, you push in the year label (2025/2026/2027) into it's slot at the bottom right of base. You do not need to glue anything it will hold just fine (This can all be seen in the image of the model). That's it you're done!

EXPLANATION

The aim of this puzzle is arrange the pieces in a way that todays date is showing. E.G. If it's Friday the 3rd of January, all the pieces would be arranged to that the squares FRI, 3 ,and JAN are visible, showing todays date. This puzzle has a different solution everyday which is the main reason I find it so amusing, as you don't get bored of it after you solve it once.

Enjoy!!
