Details:
This is a simple yet robust 3d printable classic ‘saw tooth’ picture hanging hook. These hooks are a simple and traditional way to hang a picture or painting off a single fixing point. Simply screw the saw tooth hook into the top of your picture, then place the teeth onto your nail/ hook/ screw. The teeth allow you to shift the painting slightly to the left and right in order to quickly and easily ensure that it is level.
While metal versions of these are readily available in hardware stores, we all know how often we end up printing something we could have otherwise bought, so I wanted to make sure there was a decent 3dprinted one available.
Print info:
Easy, quick print. No brim or supports required. I used 15% infill density and 3 walls. Print on it's back to print without supports (teeth are a printable overhang)
I'd use something strong like PETG if you can to reduce the chance of screw countersink splitting, but I've done loads in PLA and it still works.
Assembly info:
None!
