Shaft-Hole Clearance Test
Print Profile(1)

Description
To prepare for subsequent modeling, I wanted to test the clearance of a 15mm long shaft-hole integrated print (sliced perpendicular to the axial direction) under specific printing parameters to select an appropriate clearance later.
PS: The results may vary with different printers, printing parameters, and materials. I used Bambu A1 and Bambu PLA Matte for printing.
- With the current parameters, 3mm diameter holes and 2.9mm, 2.8mm, 2.7mm, and 2.6mm diameter shafts cannot be printed integrally (they stick together and cannot be separated after printing). Parameter optimization may achieve this;
- With the current parameters, 5mm diameter holes and 4.9mm, 4.8mm, and 4.7mm diameter shafts cannot be printed integrally (they stick together and cannot be separated after printing). Parameter optimization may achieve this; 4.6mm shafts can be printed integrally, and the tightness should be determined through personal assessment;
- With the current parameters, a 10mm diameter hole and a 9.9mm diameter shaft cannot be printed integrally (they stick together and cannot be separated after printing). Parameter optimization may achieve this; 8.8mm, 8.7mm, and 8.6mm shafts can be printed integrally, and the tightness should be determined through personal assessment;
- With the current parameters, a 15mm diameter hole and a 14.9mm diameter shaft cannot be printed integrally (they stick together and cannot be separated after printing). Parameter optimization may achieve this; 14.8mm, 14.7mm, and 14.6mm shafts can be printed integrally, and the tightness should be determined through personal assessment;
- The circular disc on top of the model is intended to be installed at the lower end of the shaft to prevent the shaft from falling out. This test version can be kept for an extended period to allow for the selection of an appropriate printing clearance.
