Silent fun fidgeter! Name inspiration comes from my father, who used to say “oh fiddle sticks!” often when I was growing up. After printing and playing with a bunch of fidget toys, I wanted some sticks that would be close to the diameter of a pen and could be used for dexterity exercises, but also came apart. Enter: FiddleStix

Printing 9 of these took < 1 hour on a P1S.

I have included a 6x4mm magnet version for those who wish to use maker supply, and a 7x4mm magnet version. I had 7x4 neodymium magnets, so those are what I used.

These are best printed in sets of 3+, but you can print however many you want! Four seems to be the optimal number

Just copy and paste which model you wish into the build plate.

To build:
Ensure there are 2 pauses inserted at the appropriate layers for magnet insertion. (I have inserted them, but never hurts to double-check)

At the pause, I found it helpful to stack my magnets to ensure the poles were all the same. You have to insert them in the same orientation for the top AND bottom for these to work correctly and want to stick to each other.
I used the included Bambu scraper blade to remove the magnet from the stack, then used the tool to place the magnet CAREFULLY into the stix, making sure to use as little horizontal pressure as possible so the stix do not separate from the build plate. Use patience and care and you should have no problem!
