screws:

2mm (M2) Various lengths

Solid rod:

4mm brass, copper or steel rolid rod from the hobby store. Carbon fiber/graphite may work too but won't be as strong with a side load. This is what you'll be using for the suspension pivot points. Brass will work the best.
