Description

Here is a battery/electronics tray I designed for the Meus MB24 kit for Axial SCX24s. On the rear is a pair of faux radiator fans for a scale desert racer look, goes well with the fuel cell I also have uploaded to replace the spare tire. I wanted the radiator and fans setup in as a separator between the rear and front for a cool scale look, but I also wanted extra room for electronics or batteries after changing my ESC/Receiver setup.

This is intended to be used with low profile electronics, likely will not work with stock electronics or pancake motors unless you get a little creative with positioning, wiring, and cable management. I'm running a Furitek Lizard Pro ESC with a Furitek Avatar micro receiver and a small (non pancake) style brushless motor. Fits well with the listed electronics and provides a tray to put my small battery to keep it from flopping around inside the cage. This won't be a fit for everyone but if you're running low profile electronics it really ads a nice platform and a great scale look with the rear mounted radiator.

Uses factory style pan-head screws, screws go in from underneath into the plate, there are circular windows in the plate to allow a tool to pass through and secure the rear body mounting screws to the cage. Recommend pre-threading holes with a screw prior to install or it can be a little tough to get the threads started. Also helpful to slightly ream or drill out rear mount holes in the MB24 frame prior to install if you want, it will work either way though.
