Description
Please print the new version which can be screwed in from below, designed for a flexible hole width of 51-63mm and holds in tabletops 5-30mm deep :-)
This model is the second version of a robust and functional cable grommet for holes with a diameter of 50 mm (19 mm depth), ideal for use in desks, countertops, or other surfaces requiring neat cable management. The design consists of a round frame that can be inserted into a correspondingly sized hole, and a removable lid with a narrow slot (10 mm) for secure cable routing. The inner diameter is 45 mm and a German Schuko plug fits perfectly through it. The outer frame has a thickening to hold it in the hole without screws or glue. If necessary, the frame can be fixed with some hot glue
The inner diameter of the cable opening is dimensioned so that multiple cables can be comfortably routed through, while the lid provides additional stability and a tidy appearance. The model can be printed in PLA or ABS and takes only about an hour to print
This second version prints cleaner and is more flexible to hold better in a perfect 50 mm hole
