Corrected the thread direction issue
===============
I explored numerous filament feed extension solutions, but none proved entirely satisfactory
Reasons
1. Primarily, the AMS exerts considerable tension, and without a pneumatic fitting, the PTFE tube is prone to dislodging
2. The AMS lite retraction distance is quite short; adding a multi-way connector to the feed port limits the AMS lite to only three channels
-----------
Therefore, I redesigned the feed port. It currently features eight ports: four for the AMS lite, and three for manual filament feeding
Note:
- Requires seven pneumatic fittings. Refer to the image for the model number
- Instructions for feed port disassembly are available on the official website wiki
- The original feed port incorporates magnets, thus, replacement may affect functionality; the precise function is unknown to me 😄, perhaps filament jamming detection? I have not yet encountered any issues
- If too loose, consider slightly enlarging it
- PETG printing is recommended. The printed part is considerably less robust than the original, and its longevity is uncertain. It has yet to fail, however
- The overall design is somewhat bulky
