This is the BEST version of ZipTie Buddies.  Print this one, you won't regret it!

This license does not permit or selling of the file or prints.

This is an update version from my original design.  This version incorporates a torsion spring and fasteners for a longer lasting device.  It is also smaller and prints in under 50mins!

Organizer and dispense zipties with ease with the ZipTie Buddy.  My design based on the popular device found on aliexpress.  Why buy it when you can print it!

Can hold up to 50 regular zipties down to just 1.  Works with smaller and larger zipties as well.  Automatic tension adjustment & a handy carabiner loop to hang it on your belt.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Print all pieces and remove the supports

    1. 3 supports on the bottom piece
    2. 1 tiny support on the top piece

  2. Press in 3 nuts to the underside of the bottom piece (they are tight on purpose to hold them in place

  3. Put the lever in place as shown and push the spring into place ensuring the upper arm is to the outside and the lower arm to the inside

    1. The lower arm of the spring will fit inside the groove in the lever

  4. Thread one bolt into the spring hole first, then screw in the other two bolts

  5. If your lever wont move freely, loosen each bolt by ½ turn
  6. Add a split key ring to help it hang nicely when using a carabiner
