Description

Heyho

I've had these brackets & hooks mounted in my kitchen for a long time now and use them all the time :) (The variant with wooden round bar)

Choice of material:
For the hooks and the rods you have to use PETG or other strong filaments. PETG/PA CF is of course ideal. Otherwise PLA deforms over time and would simply fall off. I printed the holders in PLA many months ago and they still hold up wonderfully.

Assembly:
The assembly is very simple. Simply screw the brackets at random intervals with wood screws. Then insert the wooden or plastic rods from the side.
Depending on how flexible/stiff your material is (PETG is more flexible, wood or carbon fiber composites are more rigid), you can freely choose the spacing of the brackets. The closer they are to each other the less the rod will sag.

I like to let the rod stick out a little. That way it can't fall out accidentally and I don't have to screw the holder on so precisely :)

You can simply clip in the hooks afterwards and move them freely.

Scaling:
As all parts are printed, you can scale them as you wish. Just make sure you have the right screws. So that nothing gets mixed up, I have already prepared 3 sizes for you for screws with 3 mm, 3.5 mm and 4 mm diameters.

If you scale the rod using only the X axes, you can adjust the length as required!

Variants:
I have 3 different versions of the bracket.

Variant 1: Round opening -> Necessary for wooden rods and also functional for the 3D printed rods.

Variant 2: Hexagonal opening for the 3D printed rods. (A little more hold & rod no longer twists.

Variant 3: Hexagonal opening with center stop. Slightly wider to act as a stop or center piece between 2 rods.

Wooden sticks:

If you use wooden sticks, you need the following diameters:

3 mm Version → 8 mm Diameter
3,5 mm Version → 9,5 mm Diameter
4 mm Version → 10,5 mm Diameter

You can also scale the Parts according to a wooden Rod you already have. Simple choose a fitting screw then by yourself! You can use the PrusaSlicer as a great help to measure and scale everything!

Have fun!
