Here's a new Star wars ship for my Star Wars suspended model collection..

This time it's the CR90 Corvette that Princess Leia used in the beginnning of A New Hope movie..

When i was making the frame for the corvette to be suspended.. i ran out of ideas on what kind of frame i wanted to do..

So i was playing around with the idea of when the corvette was being pulled in by Darth Vader Star destroyer.. and so the top frame was going to be a mockup of the star destroyer with a window the shape of the loading docks..
And i made the bottom to using the rebel logo.. Now i had no idea how to combine the 2 elements into a frame.. So i just made a thick wall holding the 2 parts together.. I just added the strings and prayed that the wall would be able to hold the top start destroyer frame and the corvette together.. And the whole thing worked..

I didnt want to make a detail star destroyer on the top frame is because i want the attention to be on the corvette.. and the star destroyer is just a mockup of the scene from the movie.. The cool thing about this suspended model is that if you look at it from the right side.. it looks like the top and middle ship is suspended by the strings alone..

The whole suspended corvette was modelled using tinkercad.. thats why it took so long for my star wars suspended collections..

the only problem i had with this idea frame is there is no place to add in LED strip lights..

If anyone have any ideas on where to add the LED lights.. do share in the comments.. and i'll to make one as an addon later..

I added multicolor print profile so feel free to change the colors as you see fit.. Have fun 3d printing..
