Description

This set of inserts for Quacks of Quedlinburg, includes all known expansions as of March, 2024.

  • Files include set for AMS with 6 pre-configured build plates with 1, 2 or 3 colors per build plate that print in sequence, one after the other, this means that they do not require a prime tower or purging poop; and print several times faster than printing in full AMS mode (this is pre-configured, to disable this, click the nut icon on each build plate that has multiple colored pieces to select ‘global’ instead of ‘object’ sequence)
  • Solid color file also included
  • Rounded corners and sides on all elements for comfort and safety
  • Box inserts conform to the shapes of the player boards with no sharp edges
  • Loose clearances to aid insertion and removal of parts back in box and to avoid stressing box.
  • The box sits flush closed with no riser
  • Finger slots to retrieve all boards easily from the bottom or sides of holders
  • Printing time:
    • Full color AMS version: 1d 0h 45min
    • Single color version: 22h 17min

This is an entirely newly drawn and designed insert set for Quacks. It is not a remix, it is a completely from scratch set of models, dimensions, CAD, and was drawn in Adobe Illustrator as 2D vector shapes and brought into TinkerCAD for finishing touches. I based the location of elements placed in the box on Arcanas' Quacks of Quedlinburg Insert V2 design, find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4934345, but again, none of their CAD was used or remixed. I used this design but didn't like the sharp edges of the player trays, box inserts, and slots for the books in the ingredient bins.

Great model and overall design, just a tiny bit too much play in the box for some of the elements. Nothing that could not be fixed with a bit of foam, but I'd prefer a tighter fit :)

Thanks for the feedback! went overboard with that because the ones i found were so tight they damaged my box. I'll have to play with perhaps a small incremental global scale modifier, e.g. maybe 101% or so might give it a tighter fit. Thanks!
