I am using serveral M.2 SSDs to clone and backup my computers. For storage and protection I designed a simple M.2 case.
This case fits a single M.2 SSD in the very common 2280 size.
Printing is easy. Use your favourite material and set your slicer to vase mode. The line width (default and outer wall) for a 0.4mm nozzle must be 0.6mm otherwise it will not fit. Use five bottoms and print it slowly to have a nice finish. Having a brim will optimze the bed adhesion. For more details take a look at my 3mf print profile.
As shown in the photos I am using crystal clear PLA (Geeetech) so I can see what is in the case.
If you think that the case is too small just scale it in the slicer to match you needs.
