Description

Do you remember the ancient days when there was no Netflix? Just linear TV?
Stay up all night just to realize that all there is on TV is just poop? This is how we Neanderthals watched TV!

With this TV box you can recreate this feeling. Print your own TV and fill it with whatever you want - even poop.

The tube is a translucent drawer that can be inserted into the TV body. It can hold about 180gr of printer poop. By printing the tube with clear PLA (or PETG) in vase mode it becomes very transperant so that you can see the inside. For a nice effect you can add some LED candles or similar lights.

As and addition I created a TV body that has a coin slot so that you can use this TV as a piggy bank. The STL for the coin slot body can be found in the raw model files.

To print the tube and get the necessary transpareny set Bambu Slicer to Vase mode. Use 0.99mm line thickness and a layer height of 0.2 or better 0.28mm. Print it slowly with 100mm/s for the outer wall and 200mm/s for the rest.

The rest of the TV box will be printed normaly. Use 0.2mm layer height for everything but the two bezels, the antenna and the knobs. For these set the layer height to 0.1mm to get a nicer result. Support should not be necessary.

For more details take a look at my 3mf files. This time there are four of them because you cannot have a vase mode print together with a normal print in the same profile. So I made two profiles for the P1S and two for the A1mini.

For assembly you will need some glue. Nothing special, superglue will do the job.

Put the tube into the TV body. Now glue the bezels, the knobs and the rear cover to the tube and let it dry. At last glue the antenna and the stand to the TV body.

Now add some poop and watch TV like in the old days!
